This is one of those moments when I suddenly want to write something, preferably profound and life-changing, but will settle for anything readable. (I really need a topic. Ha!) But tonight, here's to random.
*Avoid watching tear-jerkers while you have a cold. Crying only produces more of the snot you so desperately wish would dry up.
*Eating an entire box of chocolate chip cookies by yourself within 36-48 hours may or may not be the answer to ... anything.
*Forgetting where the letter p is located in the alphabet is not the end of the world. Although forgetting how to sing the alphabet song to find p's location might just feel like it.
*Cross-stitching is fun at any age. It may be a little harder at 40 something as displayed by the glasses-on-glasses-off movements, but it's still fun.
*Indoor plumbing is taken for granted.
*Certain four-legged animals really are loyal. I can honestly see why they are called, man's best friend. But I'll never understand dressing them on a daily basis.
*Grandparents and parents truly are a gift to cherish. Listen and learn from their wisdom. Love them while you still can.
*A friend made in college is a friend for life. Choose wisely.
*Nothing is too insignificant to bring to God.
*Keeping my mouth shut is HARD, especially when I'm right. ;)
Nothing on that list may seem life-changing to you, but as crazy as it sounds, they are all life-changing to me. A pointless blog entry, but hey...the need to write something has passed. Whew! I feel better.
What would you add to the list?
Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. ~ James 1:19-20
(My verse for my keeping my mouth shut problem!)
Thanks for stopping by! ;)
